Dr. Ryan Phelan

Welcome to the Kingsburg High School website.  It is my pleasure to serve the staff and students at KHS.  As a Kingsburg High School alumnus and a Kingsburg resident, I take pride in helping to mold the future leaders of this town.  I am a believer in a student’s desire to be a part of something special. Students are curious and innovative individuals who absorb and retain information far better than most adults. An opportunity to work with them is an extraordinary privilege, and one I am honored to be part of.  There is no higher calling than to be a positive influence in the lives of young adults.

We have many rich traditions at Kingsburg High School that continue today.  The courses that we offer are rigorous and relevant.  We are a 1:1 campus that encourages the responsible use of technology.  We offer 20 varsity sports and have a wide array of clubs on campus.  Currently, there are 12 advanced placement courses and we also provide a plethora of career tech opportunities for our students.

It is a true privilege to serve as your principal.  The staff and I at Kingsburg High School will do our absolute best to have our student’s college or career ready once they graduate.  We are passionate about education and are excited to work with your son or daughter. The staff are eager educators who have worked diligently to help students become successful in previous years and that carries on, even today.

If you have any questions about our program, I can be reached at (559) 897-5156 or at rphelan@kingsburghigh.com.
